The Training Implementation and Delivery Committee (TIDC) supports training quality across South Australia.

The committee sits within the South Australian SkillsCommission. It includes peak bodies from VET, higher education,apprenticeships, traineeships, and Adult Community Education. It replacedindividual provider representation on Industry Skills Councils.

Its role is to gather sector intelligence on trainingcapability, capacity, and delivery quality. It advises government and developspractical responses to workforce needs.

The committee operates within the national VET frameworkand aligns with Jobs and Skills Councils. This helps link training delivery toindustry demand.

SASA is represented on the committee by Ben Mayne, ChiefOperating Officer of Alliance College and Concord Institute. His role bringsthe perspective of private and independent RTOs into policy and implementationdiscussions. Ben’s 25 years of experience across VET and higher education,working with international and domestic learners, apprentices, and trainees,provides the committee with a broad scope of knowledge, skills, and practicalexpertise.

SASA’s involvement ensures provider realitiesinform decisions that affect training delivery across the state.
