South Australia Skills Alliance (SASA) congratulates Ironwood Institute on being named 2025 Small Training Provider of the Year at the South Australian Training Awards.

Presented by the South Australian Skills Commission, the Awards recognise excellence across vocational education and training and celebrate organisations that deliver strong outcomes for learners and industry.

Ironwood Institute specialises in horticulture, agribusiness and green-life education, supporting South Australia’s priorities in workforce development, food security, climate resilience and reconciliation with First Nations peoples.

The Institute offers inclusive pathways for a broad range of learners, with vocational qualifications that can lead to university study. Ironwood student body constitutes high school graduates, international students, mature-age career changers, First Nations learners, and people re-entering society following incarceration.

Ironwood CEO Navtej Bal said the award is dedicated to the Institute’s training and student support teams, and to the industry partners who help shape real-world learning and job-ready skills.

SASA is proud to support and champion high-quality vocational education and training across South Australia.
