The countdown is complete Register now # SASA Roundtable (RTOs): Funding Changes for Individual Support & Related Settings Register for this EMERGENCY Round Table Event **Why this, why now ** South Australia is moving Individual Support to a managed training list with provider allocations.  This roundtable will examine what that change means for RTO delivery and viability, the quality signals we’re hearing from industry, whether CHC33021 is fit-for-purpose, and where traineeships are actually effective. The goal is to map what’s happening on the ground in SA and leave with solution-based actions that SASA can progress with industry and government.  **What we’ll cover (guided discussion) ** - Understanding the allocated-places model for Individual Support and other affected quals (what’s been said; what it means in practice). - Traineeships/apprenticeships as the preferred funding pathway — operational realities. - RTO “hot topics” to inform SASA’s advocacy priorities (compliance pinch points, AP/payment settings, timing/briefings, viability impacts).  **What you’ll leave with ** - A shared summary of the model as briefed and the open questions SASA will put to Skills SA. - A short sector issues list (prioritised) that SASA will carry forward. - Connection to peers facing similar allocation and delivery settings.  **Format ** Facilitated roundtable; limited to ensure everyone can contribute. We’ll test what’s working (and what isn’t) with traineeships, where skill sets/micro-credentials can help, and co-design solution-oriented actions with RTOs to protect supply and lift quality across SA.  **Discussion focus ** - How the allocated-places model affects workforce supply across aged care, disability, and community services (what you need vs. what will be delivered). - Making the most of traineeships/apprenticeships (if this is where funding preference  shifts, how do we ensure it works for employers and learners?). - Quality, job-readiness, and local training — what “good” looks like from your perspective (without naming providers).  **What you’ll leave with ** - A short, sector-backed message SASA will take to Skills SA on supply, timing, and quality. - A channel to keep providing evidence (quotable insights, vacancy/backfill trends, placement constraints).  - Visibility of what RTOs say they can deliver — and where collaboration helps.  **Format ** Facilitated roundtable; invitation-led with limited capacity to keep it practical and fast.
